To reinforce teachers’ existing abilities, and provide new strategies and methodologies that explicitly focus on bettering management of their English classrooms through the use of engaging activities. This is done to facilitate new language acquisition even for the most troublesome students, so that they can get ahead successfully in their personal and professional lives.

  a. Identify and discuss the relevant points between TC & MC.
b. Prepare (two groups) a workshop of a regular class today and a mother one.
c. Hand in to your professor your class plan before the shop.
d. Carry out the presentation.
e. Assessment of the group that presents the shop.

Motivation should be the priory for enhancing student participation.

  a. Reflect on why motivation in the classroom is a priority issue.
b. Organize to present a workshop introducing MPC (motivation priority classroom.)
c. Hand in your class plan introducing a relevant motivational process in your presentation.
d. Carry out the presentation with your group.
e. Assessment from all procedural observers.

2 Credit to pass the session: the credit that participants obtain will be based upon the preparation, presentation, and the assessment from auto, co-evaluation and hetero-evaluation.

Modern active methodology to approach constructivism of learning.

  a. Discuss about how to construct an active learning methodology for today’s classroom.
b. Revise your comments and prepare a workshop which contains your proposal.
c. Before you begin the shop, hand in your class plan presenting the proposal.
d. Present your class.
e. Group assessment by observers.

3 Credit to pass the session: the credit that participants obtain will be based upon the shop presentation including the proposal for better student’s encouragement and observer’s assessment.

The accurate and modern class plan to discourage disruptive students in class.

  a. Identify the causes of disruptive students and how to work out the inconvenience within the classroom.
b. Plan a workshop where you propose disruptive students discouragement.
c. Hand in your class plan with the proposal, before the shop.
d. Carry out the presentation.
e. Assess the group that presents the shop.

Assessment and rubric for functional classes.

  a. Identify the forms to set out classroom assessment with the use of a rubric for functional classroom.
b. Prepare a workshop where the rubric will be used.
c. Hand in your professor your class plan presenting the rubric proposal.
d. Carry out the presentation.
e. Assess the group that presents the rubric proposal.

5 Credit to pass the session: the credit that participants obtain will be based upon the discussion, preparation, presentation, and the assessment from auto, co-evaluation as well as professor assessment.

  • Los cursos se efectuarán en los horarios establecidos.
  • Se realizarán dos controles de asistencia por parte del equipo del DEaDV.
  • Se efectuará un receso de 30 minutos (a consideración del tutor).
  • Acreditación (Aprobación): Los participantes deberán cumplir con la asistencia mínima: 90% o su equivalente en tutoría virtual y calificación mínima de 8.0/10 (Art. 32 - Reglamento DEaDV).
  • La justificación por inasistencia a los cursos de educación continua se efectuará en el término de 3 días contados a partir de la inasistencia acompañada del justificativo legal correspondiente(Art. 38 - Reglamento DEaDV).
  • Una vez acreditado el curso se emitirá el certificado de aprobación correspondiente.
